Ohio BWC Updates – August 2025
Updates and Notifications
As you may be aware, the Ohio BWC has combined the Drug Free Workplace Program (DFSP), DFSP Safety Grants and the Substance Use Recovery and Workplace Safety Program (SUR) into the Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Program (SUPR). The following are the key points to this change:
- The Self-Management Assessment Form (SH-26) and the Safety Action Plan (DFSP-5) are no longer required
- All discounts remain the same for Basic and Advanced levels
- All testing requirements remain the same for all levels
- All training requirements remain the same for all levels
- We are currently updating your policy and will notify you upon completion
Safety Professionals App
Our online safety management system includes an E-Learning Center, Employee Management, Safety Toolbox Talks, Safety Policies, SDS Archive, and Drug Free Workplace Management. This will help your company track employee training, have easy access to all of your written policies, and the ability to manage some of your drug free workplace program online.
