Training Requirements by SUPR Level

| Comparable | Completed before employees begin work on the public project |
Supervisors complete this education plus reasonable suspicion supervisor training. Contractors on public projects should also review the SUPR Comparable Level requirements.
Online Drug-Free Workplace Training in English & Spanish
Our online courses let employees complete their training on a phone, tablet, or computer, without pulling crews off the job for a classroom session. Courses are available in English and Spanish. Completion is recorded automatically in the E-Learning Center, so your SUPR documentation is always ready. Many employers also add drug-free education to their new employee safety orientation.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Support
Education is only part of the program. When an employee needs help, The Safety Pro Group provides access to a licensed counselor for substance use referrals and assessments. That supports SUPR’s focus on recovery and helps you keep valuable employees.
How long is drug-free employee education?
The standard course is one hour. Annual refresher training keeps the content current and meets SUPR requirements.
Can employees take the training online?
Yes. Our online drug-free workplace training can be completed on any device, in English or Spanish, with automatic completion records.
Do supervisors need different training?
Yes. Supervisors take employee education plus skill-building training on recognizing impairment, documenting behavior, and initiating reasonable suspicion testing.
